A TASTE OF THE COAST UP IN THE MOUNTAINS: OUR FIRST OYSTER ROAST
The executive chef for our on-site restaurant, Tom Makowski, originally came here from the Charleston area and had experienced an enthusiastic response to the possibility of hosting oyster roasts. He contacted the Charleston Oyster Farm and, with their support, he decided to try one in the North Carolina mountains. It was a great success!
The Hendersonville area of WNC (Western North Carolina) is FULL of beautiful trails. For many of us who are not used to walking in the mountains or hiking lengthy trails, there is still a way to enjoy the beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous scenery in our area.
