It’s 10:30 am with an invigorating outdoor temperature of 56 degrees F. Through the front door of the inn we can see a wonderful family of four outside playing on our shuffle board. The robins and mockingbirds are chirping amongst the blooming dogwoods. Though delayed spring has arrived in full glory as if to echo Mary Poppins, “Spring is never late, but always arrives precisely when she means to!”.
As midday approaches we will enjoy a high of 65 degrees. Perfect weather for walking in our historic downtown district of Hendersonville or hiking amongst the waterfalls at DuPont State Forest. The Biltmore House’s gardens in Asheville (just 20 miles away) are now painted in bright red and yellow tulips.
Echo Mountain Inn is a really great place to visit whether you are seeking an individual retreat or a family get-away. We have puzzles and games in the library and complementary coffee and tea in the lobby. Our property is just 3 miles away from downtown Hendersonville in a quiet wooded neighborhood. We have several acres for your kids to run around and play in our fresh mountain air and plenty to do indoors as well with our breakables out of reach from your little ones.
We’re hoping you and your family will plan to join us for your next get-away. We can’t wait to meet you!
